3 Days Gorilla Trek Congo

The 3 Days Congo Gorilla Safari begins in Rwanda since it is where one is transferred to Virunga National park DRC close to Uganda where you will experience five gorilla families with three groups that are often tracked.

Day 1: Travel from Kigali- Kisoro border Uganda

Our guide will pick you up from the place you rested from or the airport then move to the border of Uganda and Rwanda. While travelling, you will spot the tremendous rolling hills in Ruhengeri which is located in the northern part of Rwanda towards Cyanika. At the border, you will be required to present and clear with personnel working at the border so as to access the other side. After finishing with clearing, you will proceed into Uganda where you will view the beautiful shores of Lake Mutanda with volcanoes around it and take part in guided nature walks. After the journey, you will rest at Travelers Rest Hotel (Kisoro Tourist Hotel).

Day 2: Trek Gorillas at Virunga.

Rise at dawn, have breakfast and set off to Bunagana where Uganda borders with Congo. Later on, you will proceed to the park headquarters for orientation about your entire trip/tour especially on issues concerning gorilla trekking. After being oriented/ briefed, you will proceed to the park where you will engage yourself in trekking the endangered species in the forest at parc national des virunga Congo. While trekking, you will spot a variety different primates for example the black & white Columbus monkey, forest hogs, golden monkey, blue monkey etc When done with the trekking experience that involved interacting with the gorillas in various ways you will travel back to the hotel in Kisoro to have dinner and rest.

Day 3: Travel back to Kigali.

After having a great night, wake up have breakfast then embark on a journey to Kigali Rwanda. Along the journey, one can take photos /make breaks to spot and embrace the magnificent nature of Rwanda & its relief along with carrying out relaxed shopping/window shopping in the tidy hospitable markets/shopping malls of Rwanda. At mid day, you will be in Rwanda and while here, you will have finished your safari.
